St. Thomas, Virgin Islands

This past week Jesse and I took a wonderful vacation to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands with his parents, sister and brother-in-law.
View from our house

Another view, Jesse even took a kayak out to those islands, I didn't think I could make it so I did not go
View from our room

It is hard to see but in the clouds there are two tornadoes

A little closer look

Beautiful Sunset

All of us about to go on a all day snorkeling tour
Feeding the sting rays
In our snorkel gear- tour guide Jacob on the right
On a boat on our way to St. John
View from St. John- St John has a beautiful national park
Oh and this is St. Patrick's day so Jesse and I wore our green :)
Building a sand castle on Megan's beach
Where we ate a very good meal, I am beginning to love sea food

Mike and Kim climbing the "99 Steps," which is actually 103 steps. I forget the steps importance but it was a tourist thing to do and it was free!

This is a brief summary of pictures. We also were beach bums a few days of vacation and we did some shopping.

Iguanas were everywhere, weather was in the 80's ,never rained on us during the day and waters were crystal clear.

Great trip, would recommend St. Thomas to anyone!

Our First Home!

Jesse and I bought our first home last night! We went house hunting on Sunday and did not really expect to find anything we both agreed on. Jesse likes the brand new houses and I favor the more charming older homes. After several hours of house hunting and after looking at 12 different houses one house kept coming back into our minds and we began to compare all of the other houses to it. So after a restless night of sleep Jesse and I both woke saying "we have to have that house." We rushed back to Bartlesville that night after work took one more look at it, made and offer and BAM we had it!

We got a 3 bed 2 bath newer home, but it still has plenty of charm. This house we hope to be in for a long time, well as long as Conoco Phillips does not send us to another location.

Living Room

Looking from entry way into dinning room. Living room on left. Kitchen is on the left of dinning room

Love this kitchen!

More cabinets

Upstairs media room

Guest bath, looks similar to master bathroom sink

Master bedroom

Master bath shower, small tub but we love the rain shower heads

Jesse and I are thrilled and blessed to have this as our first home and we hope we can share it with all of our family and friends and create some wonderful memories in this home.
